Sustainable Agriculture Commitment?
Tingyi (Cayman Islands) Holding Corp. (hereinafter referred to as “Master Kong”, “the Company” or “We”) upholds the sustainable development concept of “Keep Our Nature Green” and actively implements a series of initiatives, including environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and production efficiency improvement, within the scope of its own operations, as well as during the collaborations with Tier-1 and non-Tier-1 suppliers, striving to advance the development of sustainable agriculture. We are committed to working with upstream suppliers to jointly promote:
- Water conservation: Gradually phase out traditional flood irrigation methods and promote water-saving irrigation techniques such as drip irrigation and sprinkler irrigation; encourage the construction of rainwater collection ponds and cisterns, with collected rainwater treated for agricultural irrigation and other purposes;
- Reduce environmental pollution: Utilize advanced technologies to reduce the demand for chemical fertilizers during the process of agricultural production and planting; innovatively apply biodegradable mulch film technology to minimize plastic film pollution;
- Protect soil health: Encourage the adoption of conservation tillage techniques such as no-till, reduced tillage, and stalk mulching to minimize soil disturbance and reduce erosion risks; conduct regular farmland soil testing and develop personalized soil improvement plans based on fertility levels and pH levels;
- Prevent ecosystem damage: Strictly adhere to the Ecological Protection Redline during agricultural development to avoid causing harm to critical ecosystems such as nature reserves, wetlands, and forests; encourage the adoption of eco-friendly agricultural techniques, such as biological and physical control methods, to reduce the use of chemical pesticides and mitigate impacts on biodiversity within ecosystems;
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions: Utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as AI to enhance energy and resource efficiency across the entire process of vegetable cultivation, harvesting, and processing; promoting precision agriculture techniques to minimize energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions during agricultural production through measures like precise fertilization and targeted irrigation.
